The Cube was designed and carried as the culmination of the renovation of the Schuman campus, at the service of Aix Marseille University and its student and teaching community, open to the city of Aix en Provence. By its structure, its location and the equipment of its premises, it is a dynamic tool at the service of the establishment, its components, its staff and users, but it is also a driving force in the cultural activities of the campus. The Cube houses a 192-seat Theater used on the one hand for theater performances and concerts (it notably hosts the association Présence du Théâtre Vitez) but also for other types of performances, artistic or not, implemented by AMU or other partners; there is also a modular room equipped with equipment to host shows or rehearsals of music, dance, singing or conferences called “Le Plateau”; 7 musical and theatrical rehearsal rooms from 13 to 100m², a modular conference room of 100m² and two other meeting rooms of different capacities.
